Obituary
Guyton – Mr. Richard W. Stapleton, Sr., 61, died on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Candler Hospital.
Mr. Stapleton served in the US Army and was a faithful member of Countryside Baptist Church. He worked and retired from Great Dane after 35 years.
Survivors include his wife, Tillerie Stapleton; daughter, Amy Jones; son, Richard W. (Connie) Stapleton, Jr.; grandchildren, Taira, Hagen and Peyton Jones; mother, Doris Moseley; brothers, Paul, Donald, Joey, Randy and Alan Stapleton; sisters, Doris Taylor, Linda Clay, and Pauline Morgan along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. on Friday, July 1, 2011 at Countryside Baptist Church located at 1201 Noel C. Conaway Road in Guyton with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West.
