Richard Belvin Terry, 74, of Guyton, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 30, 2022 at St. Joseph's Candler Hospital, with his loving wife by his side.

He was born in Grovetown, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents Macon and Helen Terry, and his sisters, Lucille Lawson and Patricia Dickerson.

He served in the U.S. Army and the Air National Guard. After his discharge, he became a successful business owner in the Savannah area.  He was an active member of Rincon First Baptist Church and was very close to his Sunday school classmates.

He is survived by his wife, Lanell Terry, two sons, Mark (Angie) and Steven (Shereen) Terry, and his four grandchildren.

Visitation will be held  from 12pm to 1pm on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Strickland's Funeral Home, followed by a service in the  chapel. A private burial will take place at Hillcrest Abbey West in Savannah, Ga.
