Rincon – Richard Andy "Tim" Burroughs, 69, passed away August 15, 2022 from injuries sustained in a automobile accident.

The Chatham County native loved rebuilding cars and was employed at Savannah Toyota when he retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Wentfield Burroughs, Sr. and Lois Threatt Burroughs; siblings, Gregory "Dane" Burroughs, Sr., Lewis Wentfield Burroughs, Jr. and Beryl "Sissy" Buttimer.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa "Terri" Burroughs; children, Ashley Andrews (K.C.) and Brent Burroughs (Ila); step-children, Mason W. Jones (Jen) and Edie McAvee; 13 grandchildren, Chase, Kale, Tucker, Hendrix, Brooks, Tyler, Truman, Strong, Dustin, Shelby, Kaleigh, Kobain, and Alice; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Robert "Bobby" Burroughs; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 noon Friday, August 19, 2022 at Strickland Funeral Home, 2460 Hwy. 21 S., Rincon, GA 31326.

Graveside funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2022 at Hillcrest Abbey West on Dean Forest Road.
