Rincon - Richard Glen Valeiko, 47, passed away Saturday May 27, 2023  at Landmark Hospital after a long illness.

The Effingham County Native was a graduate of Effingham County HS and had worked in the electrical and HVAC trades. Beloved son and brother, he loved Atlanta Braves baseball, watching college football, spent lots of time camping, fishing and riding dirt bikes in his younger years. Richard never met a stranger....

He was preceded in death by his father, John Valieko.

Survivors include his mother, Annie Benslay; Sister Anissa Turner (Clayton); sister Christy Roberson (Billy); Nephew Anthony Hodges; Nieces Ashley and Taylor Roberson and great nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life will be held by the family.
