IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rick
Campbell

Rick Campbell
There was never a doubt that what mattered the very most in life to Rick Campbell was his family. He loved every one of us so very much and told us so every single time we spoke. On January 13 th , 2023 his family's unfathomable loss became Heaven's joyous gain when Richard Campbell, most beloved husband of Virginia, proud and adoring father of Tara (Michael) and Jeffery (Maira), loving and caring son of LaRoyce, loving and protective brother of Cindy, doting grandfather of Sam and Sophie, nephew of Rita and Ralph, cousin, uncle, brother-in-law, father-in-law, and friend to so many in his lifetime, exited this Earth and entered God's Kingdom. He was met there by his father, Charles R. Campbell, who was the one who instilled in him that profound love of family, and who, we are certain, was extremely happy to see him.
He met the love of his life, Virginia while he was in high school in California. After graduation, he attended the San Francisco Deputy Sherriff Academy and worked in the city until he moved his family to the east coast. There, he began work as a warehouseman and forklift driver for Coastland Warehouse Company and had worked his way up to President of that company by the time he retired in 2009.
He found enjoyment in his life wherever he went. He loved traveling, had some great fishing trip stories to tell, he loved baseball and attended games at several stadiums across the country. He loved classic cars, rock and roll, and a good book. Mostly, he enjoyed being in the company of his family and friends who all miss him immeasurably.
The family will gather for a private memorial in his honor.
