Rincon – Ricky E. Chance, 51, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Hospice Savannah.

The Effingham County native was a mechanic, having worked at Hertz and at Southeastern Industrial Equipment. Ricky loved old cars and family. He always greeted people with "Hey Friend".

Survivors include his children, Leila Chance and William Whitlock; parents, Russell & Helen Chance; brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Marla Chance; nieces & nephews, Abby Young (George), William Chance, Allison Chance, Zachary Chance, and Hannah Chance; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be private.
