Guyton- Ricky Len Griffin, 30, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024 at Memorial Health.

The Effingham County native was a member of Centerpoint Church, Thompson Pasture Hunting Club, and Egypt Hunting Club. The Georgia Southern University Alumni was employed by TK Elevators and was a member of International Union of Elevator Constructors Local # 32.

Ricky was a devoted spouse, father and friend. He always greeted you with a hug and a smile. He was the best friend to have in your corner, whether you needed help putting up a deer stand or a shoulder to cry on. You could always count on him. To know Ricky was to love Ricky. The great memories made with him will always be kept close to our hearts.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Griffin; children, Elayna and Waylen Griffin; mother, Sharron Anderson (Ellis); father, Randy Griffin; brother, Randy Joe Griffin (Stephanie); father-in-law, Michael E. Quarterman (Joyce); brother-in-law, Joseph Quarterman (Randi); sister-in-law, Sarah Scott (Jason); nieces & nephews, Reid and Carson Scott, Easton and Sutherlyn Griffin, and Nathan Lewis, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held 11am Friday, January 19, 2024 at Centerpoint Church.

Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
