Springfield – Ricky R. Ruth, 63, passed away December 10, 2022 at Memorial Health.

The Effingham County native was a retired heavy equipment operator and enjoyed fishing.  He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Woodrow Ruth, Sr.; brother, Willie Woodrow Ruth, Jr.; and companion, Biscuit.

Survivors include his mother, Jewell Ingram; brother, Ronnie Ruth (Kathy); sisters, Joyce Lowe (Billy), Jan Stone (John), and Rhonda Murray (Shawn); and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Union Cemetery.
