Robert "Robbie" Andrew Moore

Rincon- Robert Andrew Moore, 16, died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at his residence after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Robbie was a student at Effingham County High School where he was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America. He was also a member of Rincon United Methodist Church. Robbie's passion was following NASCAR, cheering for his favorite driver, Carl Edwards and racing go karts. Robbie was preceded in death by grandmother, Lenice Oglesby Burris and grandfather, Andrew J. Moore.

Survivors include his parents, Tom & Melody Moore of Rincon; a brother, Joshua Thomas Moore of Rincon; maternal grandparents, Bobby & Alice Bennett of Rincon; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Moore of Biloxi, MS; and many aunts and uncles.

Visitation: 5-8 pm Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 4 pm Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Rincon United Methodist Church.
