Robert Leland Bell
Guyton, GA – Bob passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 at the age of 75 at home. He was under the care of Hospice Savannah.
The Westport, Kentucky native was retired from Union Camp/IP. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents Leland Woodrow Bell and Cleo Viola Straughn Bell, brother Ralph Vernon Bell, and sister Patricia Bell Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Minnie Lee Scott Bell of Guyton, GA; children, Brenda L. Bell of Eugene, OR, Barbara A. Johns (Bruce) of Atlanta, GA, James I. Bell (Mieko) of Eugene, OR, Lisa B. Shepard of Guyton, GA; grandchildren, David J. Cone (Stephanie Hunt) of Hamilton, OH, Kaname M. Bell of Eugene, OR; sisters, Carolyn Jones of Bloomingdale, GA, Joyce Taylor (Jacky) of Guyton, GA, Linda Barner of Clyo, GA; several nieces and nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the funeral home .
Memorial services immediately following visitation at 4 p.m. in the chapel.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
