Mr. Robert Omer Benoit, 83, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024 after a long illness.

Robert was born in Valley Falls, Rhode Island and had lived in Tennessee for a number of years before moving to Pooler seven years ago.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Omer Joseph Benoit and Laura Therese Blanchette Benoit, as well as his sister, Laura Charnas.  Robert was an old car enthusiast and will be remembered for being a good husband and father.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Sherri Benoit; sons, Edward Oneal and Patrick McCants; grandson, Brent Oneal (Samantha); great-grandchildren, Josie and Zoey.

Robert's wishes were to be cremated with no formal service.
