Robert Harlan "Bobby" Odom
Springfield – Robert Harlan "Bobby" Odom, 53, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Hospice Savannah.
The Atlanta native was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ and was employed at Franklin Chevrolet. He was an avid hunter and golfer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. Odom and Betty Lamb Odom; son, Robbie Odom; and sister, Margaret Maner.
Survivors include his wife, DeeDee S. Odom of Springfield; children, Lisa Cooper of Georgetown, SC, Britney Odom of Springfield, Adam Odom of Guyton, Dylan Odom of Guyton, and Zac Odom of Springfield; grandchildren, Kayla and Hunter Cooper; sister, Susan Roberson of Jacksonville, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Church of Christ. Mr. Odom will lie in state from 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
