Robert John Borland, age 65, of Pooler, passed away on May 3, 2017.
He was born in Alberta, Canada. Robert enjoyed sports, specifically hockey, baseball and football, also liked taking care of his home and yard, and loved his family and neighbors. He was retired, but had returned to work at Lowe's in Pooler. He was preceded in death by his father, John, sister, Brenda, and mother, Eleanor.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Stacey Welsh (Joe), and son, Charles, as well as extended family. His final resting place will be at Crowsnest Mountain in Alberta, Canada. Donations can be made to www.unionmission.org.
