Robert Colson Cratty, Sr.

Statesboro – Robert Colson Cratty, Sr., 90, passed away March 11, 2026 at his home.

The North Carolina native was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and retired from C.S.X. Railroad after many years of service. He loved guns and was an excellent marksman, was very inquisitive, having built and studied technology, he enjoyed nature and being outdoors, and loved listening to classical music. He was a member of Effingham Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Andrew Cratty and Sarah Delorease Colson Cratty; and daughter, Beverley Irene McCraw.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Wanda Hubbard Cratty; children, James Keith Cratty (Lisa), Roberta Dee Anderson (Guy), Robert Colson Cratty, Jr. (Lora), Kimberly Renee Duke (Michael), Patricia Cratty Studier, Andrea Brooke Cratty Murphy (John-Patrick), and David Matthew Cratty; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Joseph Cratty (Linda) and William Cratty; and a number of nieces and nephews.

No formal services will be held at this time.
