Robert Oliver Helmly, Sr.
Rincon – Robert Oliver Helmly, Sr., 75, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at his residence.
The Effingham County native was a member of Rincon United Methodist Church and retired from Hercules as an electrician.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda A. Helmly; children, Deanne H. Fail (Mark), Robert Oliver "Robbie" Helmly, Jr., Jeffrey Howard Helmly (Nannette); 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorine Hinely and Betty Charron; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
Remembrances may be given to Rincon United Methodist Church, 107 Savannah Ave., Rincon, GA 31326.
