Rincon- Robert Harold "Herky" Morgan, 68 passed away on June 25, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, William D. Morgan, Sr. and Nancy Morgan Lewis, as well as, brothers, William D. Morgan, Jr. and James N. Morgan.

Robert was an avid outdoorsman and loved his family, from his precious wife down to his beautiful great-grandchildren. He had retired from the US Navy and had worked at the Effingham County Board of Education maintenance department.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Frances "Tina" Morgan; children, Screven Morgan, Serina Pippin (Mark) and Billy Hill (Carla); grandchildren, Jordan Hill (Kristin), Jeremy Hill (Haley), Tori Pippin (Dustin), Alexis Morgan (Brett), and Rylee Pippin; great-grandchildren, Cade and Charlee Hill, Mars Walters, and Cayman Layne; siblings, Geneva Alexander, Marie Ricker (Don), Clifford Morgan (Julie), Dwight Morgan (Delores), Richard Morgan (Anita) and Nora White (Jimmy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 10 am Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Springfield Cemetery Annex.
