Robert "Bob" Huffine

He was proud to serve in the United States Marine Corp, loved his country, and most of all loved his family and God. He was a long-time member of Silver Hill Church and loved his church family. Robert was born on March 13, 1941, in Connersville, Pennsylvania. He got his angel wings on August 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to work in his garden. He would spend hours playing with his trains. For around 40 years he worked as a welder for Great Lakes Dredge & Dock. He was a beloved husband, father, papa, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Priscilla Clark; his father, Leeroy Clark; his two brothers, Lee Clark and Alvin Clark; his two sisters, Evelyn Lowery and Joyce Ann Malphus; his grandson, Francisco Chanes; his granddaughter, Alison Jones; extended family, Linda Thomas and Brenda Roberts.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, of 60 years; his children, Cheri (Roy) Hughes, Rhonda (Charles) Nix, Melissa (Jerald) Jones, and Elizabeth Hall; his brothers, Ray (Brenda) Clark, Alan (Barbara) Clark, Melvin (Mary) Clark,  and Jim (Teddy) Wise; his children of love, Robbie and Kim Baker; his grandchildren, Nelson (Kelly) Chanes, Chuck (Yolanda) Nix, Johnathan Chanes, Jennifer (Lee) Joyner, Jasmine (John) Bringuel, Amber (Corey) Harrelson, Blaine Patnaude, Zachary (Sarah) Price, Joseph (Lana) Patnaude, Andrew (Rachel) Hall, Jordan (Victoria) Hughes, Blake (Marcena) Hall, Cameron Hall, Jessica (Brandon) Hudson, and Danielle Hall; his great grandchildren, Logan, Cade, Garrett, Kiersten, Aidan, Nadelyn, Lily, Dawsun, Yeva, John, Brennan, Kelsey, Turner, Waylon, Ethan, Henley, Jaxon, Kennedy, Piper, Dahlia, Adalyn, and Jesse; sister in law, Mary Myrick, numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Sarg. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Visitation: 1 – 2 pm Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Silver Hill Church.

Funeral: 2 pm Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Silver Hill Church.

Interment will be in the church cemetery with military honors.

Remembrances: Silver Hill Church.
