Rincon - Robert W. Kenny, Jr, 57, passed away February 1, 2025.

The Effingham County native was an Effingham County High School graduate and manager at NAPA Auto Parts at Black Creek. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Kenny.

Robert was a kind and caring husband and loved Diane with all his heart. His love for his whole family was limitless. He loved everyone around him and would give you the shirt off of his back in an instant. Robert was known by many and loved by everyone.

He had a knack for grilling the best food and not one soul around him ever went hungry. Robert took great pride in making sure the people around him were always happy and plenty of good cold beer to share with friends.

He took so many under his wing and was a great friend, father figure to tons and brother of many. He loved anything Earnhardt and NASCAR, loved watching drag racing and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan through and through.

Cars and trucks were a life long passion. He leaves a legacy behind him of being a well-known mechanic and the "Go To" parts guy.

He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Dickson-Kenny; mother, Elizabeth O'Reilly Kenny; brothers, John Kenny (Niki), Roger Kenny (Holly), Patrick Kenny (Ashley); sisters, Theresa Chamblee (Bruce), Elizabeth Anderson (Bret), Margaret Kenny, Bridget Kenny, Eileen Kenny, and Maureen Kenny (Josh); and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday, February14, 2025 in the funeral home.

Memorial Service: 1 pm Saturday, February 15, 2025 in the funeral home chapel.
