Robert Joseph McGrath, Sr., 55, of Bloomingdale, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Candler Hospital.

Robert was born in Savannah and was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Russell McGrath, brother, David McGrath, and his fiancé, Theresa Johnston.  He had been a maintenance worker with the United Methodist Church.  Robert was a single parent and raised his three children whom he loved very much.  Robert was a caring person and would give you the shirt off of his back.

Survivors include his children, Christy McGrath, Amy McGrath and Robert Joseph McGrath, Jr.; grandchildren, Austin, Myranda, Amiya and Christian; mother, Judy Criswell.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 3 p.m. on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
