Savannah-Mr. Robert Lamont McSpadden , 72, died on Wednesday, April 23 in the care of the Hospice House Savannah. Robert was born in Hoboken, GA and lived most of his life in Savannah. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and a huge Sand Gnats fan. Mr. McSpadden was also a long time member of the Savannah Moose Lodge #1550.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer McSpadden Privette, son-in-law, Kenny Privette of Pooler, grandsons, Jensen and Hayden Privette, two sons, Michael (Sharon) McSpadden of Guyton and Rocky (Christina) McSpadden of Atlanta, one sister, Delona McSpadden, one brother, James (Annette) McSpadden, both of Brunswick, GA, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many adopted children and grandchildren along the way.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 25 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thomas C. Strickland and Sons Funeral Home in Pooler and the service honoring his life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland and Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel.
