Pooler-Mr. Robert J. Nierle, Jr., 69, passed away in Sunday, February 15, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Robert was born in Pennsylvania to the late Robert Nierle, Sr. & Anita Nierle. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ellen Becker and Barbara Fleck, and a brother, Joseph Anthony Nierle. He was a 3rd Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus and attended the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. He served his country in the U.S. Army, and was employed with Clarke & Sampson Insurance Brokers.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Nierle; daughter and son-in-law, Erin & Erik Bradford; granddaughters, Gabriella and Layla Bradford; sisters, Catherine Nierle and Anita Frank, also several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. on Friday at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist located at 222 E. Harris Street in Savannah. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
