Pooler-Robert L. O'Neal went to be with his Heavenly Father Sunday night, March 5th, 2017, after a painful battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Jordan O'Neal; daughter, Krystina Marie O'Neal, Ft. Collins, CO; mother, Shirley F. O'Neal, Oceanside, CA; sister, Cathy O. Hernandez, Oceanside, CA; brother, Steve O'Neal (Robin), San Diego, CA; stepson, Scott W. Stark (Jen), Mt. Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Jake, Cade, Lila Stark, and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his two beloved pets, Rocky and Savannah, who will miss him greatly.
Bob received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing at Regis University, Cum Laude. Most of his career was spent in Sales and Management in the heavy duty truck parts industry. He was currently employed at FleetPride.
A strong believer in Christ, Bob was a member of Compassion Christian Church. He was a deeply devoted family man.
Bob had a tremendous love for the water and all activities involving the water, especially boating, crabbing, and fishing.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Savannah Chatham Humane Society on Sallie Mood Drive.
A visitation is planned at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler for Saturday, March 11th from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., and a celebration of life in the chapel immediately following.
