"Pat" Robert Earl Clark

March 17, 1935 – September 16, 2024

Springfield – "Pat" Robert Earl Clark, 89, passed away September 16, 2024 at Pruitt Health Seaside after a short illness.

One of ten children, born in Louisville, KY, Pat was the last surviving sibling. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Kandel Clark and son, Robert Andrew Clark.

He was an electrician at Gulfstream Aerospace and retired in 1993. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Garden City and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Geneva Loper Clark; two daughters, Anna Wood (Paul) and Elizabeth Sykes; three grandchildren, Robby Black (Jonathan), Clayton Sykes, and Anna Grace Fowler (Troy); five great-grandchildren; also, four step-sons, two step-daughters, and many step-grand and great-grandchildren, who loved Papa Pat dearly.

He was an avid golfer for more than 50 years and was even recognized for a hole-in-one at Lost Plantation when he was 84 years old. He also loved fishing and was such a patient fisherman enjoying vacations at Lake Russell with his family for many years.

Graveside Service: 11 am Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Bonaventure Cemetery, 330 Bonaventure Rd., Savannah, GA 31404.

There will be a visitation for friends and family on Friday, September 20, 2024 from 2 – 4 pm at their home on 111 North Cedar Street in Springfield.

Remembrances may be given in Pat's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, or the Humane Society.
