Ridgeland, SC – Robert Leonard Stone, 83, passed away March 19, 2025 at Memorial Health.

The Chatham County native served in the U.S. Army and was a retired truck driver.  He was a member of Rincon Church of God,  loved "Old Time Gospel" music and attending the Sunday night "Gospel Jam" at Guyton Christian Church.  His greatest love was his wife Glenda of 64 years, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick Leonard Stone and Minnie Ballard Stone; granddaughter, Samantha Waters; and siblings, A.J. Newman, Earl Newman, Martha Ann Newman, Janice Ciliberto, and Wauwese Woodward.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Sutton Stone; daughters, Teresa Smith (Craig), Tammy Waters (Chris), Traci Osborne (Michael), and Angie McLoon (David); grandchildren, Kevin Taylor, Jason Smith (Aundie), Ashley Sanders (Steven), Savanna Cromley (Colby), Robbie Stone (Tiffany), Selena Harris (Zack), Sophie Osborne, Reagan McLoon, Paige McLoon, and Cain McLoon; great-grandchildren, Abby, Tyler, Ryan, Grayson, Easton, Cole, Kylie, Camden, Peyton, Roman, Atlas, and Penny; sister, Nellie Clanton; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2025 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery Annex.
