Springfield – Roberto Guzman, 50, passed away October 4, 2023 at Memorial Health in Savannah, GA surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with cancer.

Roberto was born on December 13, 1972 in Tijuana, Mexico but Springfield was home to him.  He was a big family man loved his family more than anything.  Everybody who know him knows his funny personality was like no other.  We will always remember him as the big-hearted, hard-working, and loving man he was.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Guzman and Barbarita Napoles de Guzman.

Survivors include  his wife of 25 years, Maria D. Romero; children, Alejandra Guzman, Esmeralda Guzman, and Roberto Guzman, Jr.; grandchildren, Delilah Amerie Guzman and Chainberence Anthony Hall, Jr. (CJ); sisters, Ramona Guzman Gutierrez, Esperanza Guzman Moreno, Maria Guzman Sepulveda, Lucai Guzman Gutierrez, Guadalupe Guzman Oliver, and Bertha Guzman Quintero; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at the funeral home chapel.  Viewing and visitation will follow until 8 p.m.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Springfield Cemetery Annex.
