Rincon- Robyn K. Groce, 51, died March 17, 2016 at her home.
The Effingham County native was a member of Gateway Church of Effingham and the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 209 in Springfield. She worked at First Baptist of Rincon Weekday Ministries. She enjoyed cooking for the Habitat for Humanity volunteers and was a past recipient of the Rotary Volunteer of the Year award.
She is survived by her husband, George H. Groce; children, Holly Louise Pevey (Chris), Susan Horan (Mike), and Erin N. Groce; her mother, Brenda Kessler; brother, Lonnie P. Kessler, Jr.; sisters, Beth Timmons and Kathy Woodruff; 6 grandchildren; mother-in-law, Ruth Ann Groce-Roberts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 10-11 am Saturday, March 19, 2016 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 am Saturday, March 19, 2016 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: 10 am Monday, March 21, 2016 at Georgia Veterans Memorial Park in Glennville.
