Mr. Rod Cramer, 78, of Richmond Hill, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home and went to be with his Lord & Savior on Friday, January 17, 2025.

Rod was born in McVeigh, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Cramer; father, William T. Cramer; stepmother, Sofia Cramer; mother, Helen Alexander Khoury; stepfather, Eugene Petrey; mother-in-law, Jackie Morgan Tuten (Bill) and brother-in-law, Randy Morgan.

He served his country in the United States Army, serving in Vietnam from 1967-1968, he was a former Alee Temple Shriner in the Oriental Band Unit, he was a Freemasons with Solomon's Lodge No. 1, F&AM.

He was employed at Dan Vaden Chevrolet as a leasing manager for 30 years and retired from AT&T. He loved fishing, golfing and woodworking. He was loved and will be missed by all.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Janice Cramer; daughter, Natalie Cramer Nixon (Tim); sisters and brothers, Donna Black (Ken), Cathy Padgett, Pam Mason (Darrell), Karen Sanders (Paul), David Petrey (Jackie), Paul Cramer (Elena), Robert Petrey; sister-in-law, Angie Morgan (Shari);  brother-in-law, Ronnie Morgan (Kim); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or charity of your choice.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Rod's life will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Devin Bell officiating.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
