Roger L. Burdette, III

Guyton- Roger L. Burdette, III, 31, died Sunday, March 22, 2020 in Tampa, Florida.

The longtime Effingham County resident was a field service forklift technician. R.L. loved his family, especially his kids. He also loved the Atlanta Falcons and Batman, and was witty and fun loving. He also loved the outdoors and camping.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jennifer Burdette Clarke.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Burdette; children, Travis Wagner, Ryland Burdette and Ellie Burdette; his father, Roger L. Burdette, Jr., and loving step-mother, Karima; sisters, Roberta Ramos, Priscilla Burdette, and Sierra Clarke; brother, Zecharia Burdette; grandmother, Etta Kinchen; aunts and uncles, Mitzi Sumner (Michael), Harris Burdette (Patricia), and Rhonda Casanova.

A private family service will be held Thursday, March 26, 2020.

A private graveside service will be held in Nashville, GA on Friday, March 27, 2020.
