Obituary

Mr. Roger Dale Gollihue, 72, of Garden City, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Man, West Virginia to the late James Gollihue and Thelma Bailey Hall.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Dee Runyon.  He served his country in the United States Army, serving during Vietnam and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.  He was a member of the Port Wentworth Church of Christ and retired from Boaen Mechanical Contractors.  He enjoyed watching the Braves and Bulldogs, but most of all, playing golf.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Gollihue; daughter, Amy Rahn (Mark); son, Roger Dale Gollihue, Jr.; grandchildren, Matthew Rahn (Mandy), Rebekah Zipperer (Devin), Trey Gollihue, and Robert Gollihue; great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Rhema, Haven, and Daxton; siblings, Barb Justus, Phil Gollihue, Tammy Harris, Kathy Osborne, and Coy Hall, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 5 until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the Oak Grove Church of Christ located at 2000 Lexington Avenue in Rincon.  The memorial service to honor Roger's life will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Don Davis officiating.
