Pooler, GA-Roger Alden Kemp, 27, went to live with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 21, 2013.
Roger was born on August 17, 1986 in San Angelo, TX. He graduated from High School in Grand Junction, CO. He attended Colorado Mesa University in G.J., Colorado and Utah Valley University. Roger possessed an FAA commercial instrument pilots license. Roger worked the last couple of years at Sweetner Solutions in Pooler. On weekends you would find Roger and Emil (twin brother) canoeing, boating and fishing the waterways around Savannah, GA. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Kemp.
Survivors include his parents, Keith & Connie Kemp; identical twin brother, Emil Kemp; sister, Leisel Kemp; grandparents, Mary Jane Mulford and Kenneth & Mary White; aunts, Christine Hehr, LeAnna Franklin and Carol Souter; uncle, Gary White and a number of cousins.
The visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
The celebration of life service will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home officiated by Pastor Paul Watson.
