Ronald Bosiljevac

Mr. Ronald P. Bosiljevac, 85, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

Ronald will be missed by his children, John Hiatt, Jr. (Susan), Stephen Hiatt (Lisa), Kimberly Hiatt Trainor (Greg), Jeffrey Hiatt (Michelle), Eric Hiatt (Stephanie), Adam Hiatt (Sharon), and Elizabeth Bosiljevac; 24 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Ronald was born in Omaha, Nebraska and was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Sandra Sue Morehouse Hiatt Bosiljevac; parents, Thomas J. and Amelia Nellie Bosiljevac; brother, Thomas J. Bosiljevac; sister, Lorraine Guerra. Ronald was very proud of his country and his military service. He served in the United States Navy and served in Vietnam. He was a former post commander of American Legion Post #33 in South Omaha. Ronald retired from the United States Postal Service. He will be remembered for being very proud of his family, for being a hard worker, as well as the time that he spent in his yard. He enjoyed golfing and was a diehard Cornhusker fan.

The graveside funeral and burial to honor Ronald’s life will be on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City, Georgia.
