Rincon – Ronald Lee Carico, 77, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Emanuel Medical Center.

The Virginia native was a US Navy Vietnam veteran having served almost 6 years. The outdoorsman loved going for walks in the sunshine and the Word of God.

Survivors include his longtime partner, Trudie; his children, Joseph Ray Carico, Carl Wesley Carico (Tracye), Rebekah Michelle Brickey (Barry), and Dr. Ronald Carico, Jr. (Erin Beth); grandchildren, Whitney Carico Menchaca (J.T.), Nathaniel Jacob Brickey, and Hannah Melanie Brickey; a great-granddaughter, Lillian Menchaca; sisters, Gail Bryant (Dale Kelley) and Katherine Bloomer; brothers, Larry Carico, Lawrence Carico, Leroy Carico, Doug Carico, and Roger Carico; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved canine friend, Rusty.

Visitation: 3-4 pm Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 4 pm Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in the funeral home chapel.

Graveside Service: 10 am Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Georgia Veterans Cemetery in Glennville.
