Mr. Ronald Walter Jenkins, 74, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at his home.

Ronald was born in Millen, Georgia to the late Lavaughn Jenkins and Reba Rountree Jenkins. He was a graduate of Richard Arnold High School and served his country in the Army National Guard. He was employed with Great Dane for 22 years and with FLX for 14 years. He loved cars and trucks, especially the older ones, and enjoyed detailing them. He enjoyed southern pound cakes, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, and his happy place was being at the beach.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Cynthia Mathews Jenkins; children, Andrick Jenkins (Dianna), Jason Jenkins (Jennifer), and Robyn Bible (Brian); grandchildren, Brittany Jenkins Guerrero (Humberto), Kaitlyn Bible, Jackson Bible, Logan Jenkins, and Parker Jenkins; great-granddaughter, Lydia Guerrero; sister, Gail Bacon (Raleigh); brother, Michael Jenkins; sister-in-law, Joann Hathaway(the late Ronald Hathaway); brother-in-law, Joseph Mathews (Lynn), and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023 at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral to honor Ronald's life will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Effingham Memorial Gardens.
