Ronald William "Ron" Lewis

Pooler – Ronald William "Ron" Lewis, 47, passed away April 13, 2019.

The Bulloch County native graduated from E.C.H.S. in 1990. He served in the U.S. Marines, U.S. Army, and Army National Guard having served in Operation Iraqi Freedom.  He enjoyed bass fishing, coaching football, baseball, and softball.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Lewis.

Survivors include his wife, Jocelyn Bayles Lewis; children, Kayla Soucy (Aaron), Braxton Lewis (Hannah), Summer, and Ronnie Lewis; his mother, Virginia Lewis; grandchildren, Kaelynn Soucy, Adam Soucy, and Trevor Rowe; brother, Frank Lewis (Paula); sister, Heather Gonsalves (Joseph); his mother-in-law, Ruthanne Bayles; 4 nieces; 5 nephews;  and numerous other relatives.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. at GA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 8819 U.S. Hwy. 301, Glennville, GA 30427.
