Ronald I. "Ronnie" Weaver, Sr.

Clyo- Ronald I. "Ronnie" Weaver, Sr., 79,died Wednesday April 4, 2012 at his home with his family at his side.

The Screven County native was a member of Effingham Fellowship Bible Church. He had retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Effingham County Road Department. Mr. Ronnie was an avid fox and deer hunter and was past president and lifetime member of the Egypt Hunting Club.

Survivors include his children, Donna W. Gilliland (Terry), Ronald I. Weaver, Jr. (Myra), and Kirk L. Weaver (Karen); 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Thursday, April 5, 2012 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Friday, April 6, 2012 at Effingham Fellowship Bible Church on Old Dixie Highway.

Interment: Turkey Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery.
