Rosalyn Collins

Mrs. Rosalyn Collins, 86, of Guyton, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Ogeechee Area Hospice.

Rosalyn will be missed by her sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony H. Collins (Lori), Gary F. Collins (Terrie); grandchildren, Lindsey Collins, Tori Collins, Avery H. Collins (Brooke), and Olivia L. Stephens (Cody); great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Brooks, Wesley, Ellorie and Governor, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Rosalyn was born in Tattnall County and was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Howard Collins; parents, Herman E. Colley and Claudine Moore Colley; siblings, Frank Colley, Herman Colley, Jr., Sandra Witcher, and Lucy Colley. Rosalyn was a member of South Newington Baptist Church. Rosalyn will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the time spent with family and she will be missed.

The visitation will be on Friday, September 25, 2026 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral to honor Rosalyn’s life will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Sunlight Cemetery in Cobbtown.
