Mrs. Rose Ellen Oglesby, 80 , of Meldrim, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Effingham Hospital.

She was born in Emanuel County to the late Albert Edward and Irene Fowler Dismuke.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Grover Cleveland "Red" Oglesby and a brother, Gerald Dismuke.  She was a member of Meldrim Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, gardening, and pretty flowers.  She will be remembered for being a loving housewife, mother, and granny.

Survivors include her children, Gary C. Oglesby (Debi), Marie Into (Hubert), and Diane Lee; grandchildren, James Davis, Corey Davis, Brandon Into, Garin Jackson, Matthew Into, and Deborah Davis; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ina Kerr, Royce Dismuke, and Danny Dismuke, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, August 11 ^th from 11 a.m. until 12 noon at the funeral home with the funeral to follow at 12 noon in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Clint Hutcheson officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
