Springfield – Roy E. Arnsdorff departed his earthly home for his heavenly home on November 28, 2024.

He was born June 11, 1943 at home in Effingham County.  He enjoyed his family, 55 Chevy, sports, hunting, fishing, and especially Nascar Racing.  He was employed first by his father, a mechanic in Shawnee, worked with Arden Chevrolet and Kight Ford as a mechanic, was hired full time by Georgia Air National Guard and retired with 30 years Civil Service and 39 years in the 283rd Military as an E8 SMS working as the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor.
