Bloomingdale-Mr. Roy Jenkins, 70, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 at his home.
Roy was born in Chatham County to the late Leroy C. & Juanita Jenkins, and was also preceded in death by his wife, Candace Jenkins, and a brother, Timothy Jenkins. He was a member of Faulkville Baptist Church, retired from Great Dane, and enjoyed gardening, farming, traveling, and his animals.
Survivors include his children, Marie & Kevin Monroe, and James Jenkins; daughter-in-law, Lisa Clay; grandchildren, Brittany & Brooks Brown, Courtney Monroe, Brandon Jenkins (Brittany), and K.J. Monroe; great-grandchildren, Brooks Junior, Bailee, and Ford; sister, Coy & Alan Sapp; brother, Thomas & Stephanie Jenkins, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be on Monday at the funeral home from 10 until 11 a.m. with the funeral to follow in the chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.
