Mr. Roy R. Mincey, 83, of Bloomingdale, GA, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Hospice Savannah.

Roy was born in Millen, GA to the late Henry Grady Mincey & Myrtle Kersey Mincey.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Stubbs Mincey, a son, Timothy Allen "Coy" Mincey, a daughter, Sandra Kendrick, and a grandson, Bradley Manuel.  He attended Faulkville Baptist Church and retired from Union Camp.  He enjoyed racing since 1962 at Savannah Speedway and Oglethorpe Speedway, and enjoyed watching NASCAR.

Survivors include his daughter, Rhonda Hughes; grandchildren, Jamie Hilliard, Chuck Hughes, Joseph Hughes, Ashley Barnett, Dustin Rourkes, Dean Hall, and Mark Lee, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Chuck & Zoe Hughes, Gavin & Atlas Barnett, Payton, Brody, Liam, & Elijah Rourkes, Abbey Hughes, and Hunter Hall; sisters, Nell Bolen, Linda Burke, and Shirley O'Neal, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
