Ruby D. Dyson
Springfield – Ruby D. Dyson, 79, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016 at her residence.
The Florida native was a member of First Baptist Church of Springfield and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James A. DeVane and Florence Odom; her sons, James Edward Dyson and Kenneth Wayne Dyson.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde A. Dyson of Springfield; son, Mike Dyson of Guyton; daughter, Barbara Oglesby of Springfield; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jill Bennett of Hardeeville, SC.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Springfield.
Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery Annex.
Remembrances may be given to First Baptist Church of Springfield Youth Department, 1435 Hwy. 119 N., Springfield, GA 31329.
