Mr. Rufus A. Griffis, Jr., 72, of Rincon and formerly of Macon, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

He was born in Screven, GA to the late Rufus A. Griffis, Sr. and Geneva Griffis.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Griffis, a grandson, Aaron Griffis, and a sister, Rita Pritchard.  He retired from the Macon Telegraph and was a Mason (Lizella, GA lodge).

Survivors include his children and their spouses; Tim & Kim Griffis, Gina & Lance Perlman, Chad & Holley Griffis; grandchildren, Baron Massey, Ansley Griffis and Donnie Griffis; his sister, Marvalene Boyd.
