Mr. Russell M. Berry, 68, of Pooler, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at his home.
Russell was born in St. Petersburg, FL to the late David & Gladys Berry. He was a member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church and had retired as a District Manager with Wal-Mart Corporation. Prior to beginning his career, Russell served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed playing golf, was an avid fan of University of Georgia Football, and a former minor league baseball pitcher.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Berry; three children, Jennifer Wilson (Geno), David Berry (Monica), and Tiffany Wolfe (A.J.); grandchildren, Conner, Keelyn, Riley, Kenzy, Layla, and Austin; brother, Dennis Berry (Evelyn), and his former wife, Carol Berry.
The visitation will be on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 1 until 2 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
