Rincon – Ruth Elizabeth Leggett Green, 75, passed away November 3, 2024 at East GA Regional Medical Center.

The Effingham County native retired from Gulfstream after 25 years of service, she loved spending time with her family, helping others and giving back to the community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Ruth Leggett; brothers, Jimmy Leggett and Tommy Leggett; and her husband, Tommy Green.

Survivors include her daughters, Tracy Kight (Larry, Jr.), Margie Singleton (Jason), and Rebecca Strojny (Mark, Sr.); grandchildren, Jarad Wiggins, Cameron Wiggins (Delane), Kelsey Kight, Jadyn Singleton, Kindall Strojny, Mark Strojny, Jr., Luke Strojny, and Kelly Strojny; great-grandchildren, Lane Wiggins, Riley Wiggins, Makai Strojny, Ocean Strojny, and James Fulwood, Jr.; brother, Gary Leggett, Sr. (Angie); a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be 12 noon to 1 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
