Ryan Wade
Guyton-Ryan Wade, 27, died on Monday, September 3, 2007 at his home.
The Chatham County native was a 1999 graduate of The Paul Anderson Home at Vidalia.
He graduated from the Naval School at the Great Lakes Naval Station in 2002. He was
employed by his father at Wade Electric Company and he was of the Baptist faith. He
was an avid fisherman and enjoyed other various outdoor activities. Ryan was preceded
in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Lewis Purvis and his paternal
great-grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Buddy Blair.
Survivors include two daughters, Skyllar & Cadyn Wade, both of Fernly, NV; his mother
and step-father, Paulette & Michael Humm of Guyton and his father and step-mother,
Kenneth Douglas Wade & Linda of Tybee Island; maternal grandparents, Paul & Shirley
Mosely of Tybee Island; paternal grandparents, Roy & Annette Bergman of Indiana;
maternal great-grandmother, Annie L. Purvis of Pooler; step-grandparents, Joseph &
Dorothy Humm of Bloomsburg, NJ and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation: 6-9 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at
Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
