Pooler-Mrs. S. Marlene Bryant, 58, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2011 at Candler Hospital.
Mrs. Marlene was born in Michigan and had lived in Pooler for the past nine years. She was a very active member of Christ Presbyterian Church in Pooler. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting and crocheting and was the owner/operator of Bulldog Country Quilting.
Survivors include her husband, Fred F. Bryant, Jr.; son and daughter-in-law, Jason R. & Meagan Bryant; grandson, Donovan Bryant; parents, William & Dorothy Maxwell; brother, Michael Maxwell and family.
The memorial service to honor Mrs. Marlene's life will be at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 in the chapel of the funeral home.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to Christ Presbyterian Church, 1765 Quacco Road, Pooler, GA 31322 or to Loaves and Fishes, c/o YMCA.
