Bloomingdale-Ms. Sadie Gosnell Cook, 71, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Hospice Savannah.
Ms. Sadie was born in Marshall, NC to the late Charlie & Lena Gosnell. She attended Calvary Assembly of God Church in Pooler and retired from Barnes Restaurant on Waters Avenue after 37 years of service. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, visiting family in North Carolina, to shop, and her flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Cook; children, Tammy & Allen Parker, Jeff & Staci Thomas and Lisa & Blanton Shepherd; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four sisters; two brothers as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 1 p.m. on Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Newton Cemetery.
