Port Wentworth-Mr. Samuel Lamar "Pete" Neidlinger, 70, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Pete was born in Springfield to the late Samuel & Lila Neidlinger and he retired from Derst Bakery.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Neidlinger; daughters, Wendy Kerns, Angela McKnight, Samantha Neidlinger and Cheryl Lila Neidlinger; grandchildren, Cassie McKnight, Dustin Lamar McKnight, Kayla Kerns and Jake Kerns; sisters, Elizabeth Tyson and Lila Louise Carter.
The visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2014 at the funeral home.
The funeral will be at 12 noon on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in the chapel of the funeral home with the burial to follow at Springfield Cemetery.
