Samuel Eli "Sammy" Rogers, 59, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Hospice Savannah.

Sammy was born in Savannah, Georgia and had lived in Bloomingdale most of his life.  He was preceded in death by his father, Billy James Rogers and his best friend, Eric Stafford.  He was employed by the I.L.A at the Georgia Port Authority.  He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, and had played in a band for several years.  He liked Parker's Sweet Tea, Resse Cups, hunting, riding his 4-wheeler in God's country, but most of all, spending time with his family.

Survivors include his daughter Brianna England (Jon); grandchildren, Johnathan England, Shepherd England, Izabelle England, and Aleah Medders; mother, Mary LaVerne Rogers; sister, Deborah Dean (Martin); brother, Jimmy Rogers (Julie), as well as several nieces and nephews.

The visitation for friends will be on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Sammy's life will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Mr. Johnny Bryan officiating.  Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
