Sandra McDuffie Embly

Sylvania- Sandra McDuffie Embly, 78, died Monday, March 5. 2018 at Effingham Care Center.

The Ft. Lauderdale, FL native was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church of Statesboro, where she was active in the Ladies Bible Class. She was a retired musician and was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton A. Embly and her son, William A. Embly.

She is survived by her children, Cathy & Steven Fennell, Tracey & Ed Pace, Sarah & Bill Hyers, Diane Embly, Mary Embly, and Clayton & Ashley Embly; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 6-7:30 pm Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in the funeral home with a Rosary at 6 pm.

Funeral Mass: 11 am Thursday, March 8, 2018 at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens
